Call it what you will – comfort food, mommy food, nursery food – the Sterns say the most divine example of the genre is the Chicken in a Pot at Fine & Shapiro in New York City. It's a half chicken boiled with carrots, celery and kreplach (a Jewish style ravioli). To nurse a winter cold or a case of the blues there's nothing better.
