Vest Frost:
At 24 inches wide and 7 feet tall, this is "the poor man’s Subzero." It comes with two compressors, one for the refrigerator and one for the freezer. The drawback is the manual defrost, but if this doesn’t matter to you the Vest Frost offers lots of space at a value price. Available through the Real Goods Catalog. Amana:
The Amana is extremely energy efficient and offers a nice bottom freezer configuration.
Sub-Zero:
This top-of-the-line refrigerator is extremely expensive. If you make the investment be sure to buy a model with separate compressors for the fridge and freezer as these models last the longest.
